Book Selling Questions and Answers
What do I need to do to sell books on Bookblues?
You start with Creating a Seller Account for your books. You will also need a valid PayPal account, to accept payment for your sales.
What happens after I have created my listing?
Bookblues will verify: your listing is complete and appropriate, your PayPal account is set up, and your Bookblues listing payment is current. This process may take up to 1 business day to complete. You will then receive a notification that your book has been listed.
Do I need a PayPal account?
Yes. In order to get paid for your sales. To pay for Bookblues listing features you may use a Debit/credit card or a PayPal account.
Do you offer any other way to get paid for the sale of my book?
No. PayPal currently is the only way to use our site and list books for sale. PayPal is a leading online payment system, and offers some great features to sellers.
What happens when someone buys my book?
When a sale is completed you will be notified by email, and a notification will be sent to your PayPal account. The notification sent to PayPal will include customer name, shipping address, and the quantity of books being ordered. You then ship the book to the Purchaser and update the order status within the Bookblues website
If I go on vacation, who is going to ship my book orders?
We suggest that you disable your listing while you are on vacation. Your listing will no longer be viewed on our website. You may enable or disable a listing at any time, however listing time is still measured from approval date. Remember that customers may leave feedback, so processing and shipping orders in a timely matter will increase your positive ratings.
Do you offer services to store and ship my book?
We do not offer storage services at this time. Shipping is included in the final price and distributed to your Paypal account. You are then responsible for shipping the book to your purchaser.
What happens when a buyer wants a refund, or returns the book?
The buyer contacts you directly, and you as the seller will work with the buyer. Bookblues does not handle returns or refunds for your listing.
Do you offer e-book listing services?
Currently we do not offer E-Book listings. This may be something we offer in the future.
